Blessed

God's doing amazing things in me and my family at the moment. We have been blessed so much financially through Andy getting heaps of work and also through anonymous gifts of money. Its so amazing how God is taking care of the small things as well as the big things.
I love my beautiful family, but everything has definitely not been stress free. So thankful that we have God who is our rock.

Can't wait to travel the world one day, so much I want to see and do! I want to see the history in Europe and see what America is really like. I also want my eyes opened to what's really happening in the world and get some perspective. I don't just want perspective, I want to be a change and make a difference to my world. I also just want to see and appreciate God's creation. :)

Judah is now nearly 3 and Charlotte is now 13 months. She is walking everywhere and its so cute! Judah is absorbing everything and learning more and more. I am about to embark on toilet training (sigh!), really don't want to! I bet its not as hard as I'm making it out in my head, or maybe it is! :)

I love my kids!

I cannot get over just how much love I have for my children and how I much I appreciate all the cute and gorgeous things they do everyday! Charlotte is now 9 months and is just so adorable and delightful! Delightful is my word for her as she is just so happy, bubbly and cute! She crawls all around the house and plays with Judah and with toys, putting everything in her mouth that she possibly can! When there is music on she bops around and taps her hands on the floor or on a toy to the beat of the music. I have a feeling she will be musical like her brother!
This morning I went into Judah's room and found him playing his keyboard and tapping his foot on the bass drum! I went in a few minutes later to find that he had moved the keyboard over to the mirror and was singing and looking at himself, so cute!!!

FAITH

Andy and I have been believing for something pretty much ever since we got married and we are still waiting for this to come to pass. I have started to read a twelve day bible reading plan on faith and have been blown away and greatly convicted on some things. So I want to just write down some of the passages I have read, so that I can come back and be reminded of this.

"If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do."
James 1:5-8

"Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
It was by faith that Abel brought a more acceptable offering to God than Cain did. Abel’s offering gave evidence that he was a righteous man, and God showed his approval of his gifts. Although Abel is long dead, he still speaks to us by his example of faith."
Hebrews 11:1-4

Time out.

So I am definitely finding it hard to write in this blog as I need space without the kids by myself to do it! Life is full on at the moment! Parenting two little kids is amazing and amazingly busy!! Time out is hard to come by these days and to think back when I was single with no kids and had as much time as I wanted, I totally took it for granted. I now appreciate every spare moment I get and try to take time out so that I can refresh and be ready when the kids wake up! I try to be a great mum and I love being a mum, but I definitely need to work on my attitude when I get woken up during the night and then have to get out of bed bright and early in the morning!
Judah is at such a cute age right now, he is 2 & 1/2 and talking away. Half of what he says makes sense and half of it doesn't, he he. He loves to drum, he has been fiercely passionate about drumming ever since he got some drumsticks in his hands at 1 year old at Noah's rock star party. Its so amazing how much he loves drumming and music. He doesn't really love to watch movies on tv like a lot of other kids his age, he much prefers the Wiggles or Hi-five (something musical) and even then he can't sit still, he will often drum on the lounge while watching them. He also loves the outdoors and now has a backyard to play in, he loves it!

Charlotte is now 8 months old!! Can't believe it, 4 months until she is 1 year old! She is the most gorgeous, adorable, happy baby. She has been 'commando' crawling since she was six months old and is very close to crawling on her knees. She loves crawling all around the house, into her room, into Judah's room and just loves to follow Judah around. They play so well together already and there is an amazing bond between Judah and Charlotte. I had no idea that a baby and a toddler could connect so well. They are both very social and both prefer to have the other one around than just be playing by themselves. Charlotte is amazing at going to sleep now, especially during the day, sometimes we will get the odd tantrum or two, but she is great at self settling to sleep. I can tell Char Char loves music as well as she tries to bop around a bit and tap her hand on the floor whenever there is music on or Judah is dancing. I don't think our kids can really escape music as it is around them at home, in the car and at church.

Both the kids love church, they love the music and they love being around people. I am excited that they are going to grow up in the house of God and I love watching Judah grow and learn about Jesus. I love that he likes to pray and loves it when we pray with him every night. It's so amazing being a mum.

Creating Memories

So I've decided to start a blog to write down all the memories of our family and cute things my kids do, so that I can one day look back and read it all and remember. I realise now that my son is two and a half how quickly I have forgotten things! So I shall start posting here (when I get the chance!), but at the moment, need to go! Judah is not a happy chappy today!
